Palin 2012- A Space Odyssey...

Today, I heard Jonathan Alter say that there are "Republicans, and there are despicable Republicans".

Tonight, I saw GOP Congressmen Darrell Issa and Jack Kingston, and they seemed like "Republicans"- though, Issa more so than Kingston. California influence, I am sure.

As far as "speaking out in public" these days, it tapers off vertically after the two of them, and the "despicable Republicans" take over.

Today, Sarah Palin posted this to one of her social networking sites:

"The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil."

There are many beautiful mountains in Alaska. There is the Iditarod, as well, I am sure, as many other physical fitness challenges that Sarah could attempt to conquer.

However, she needs to prioritize.

Palin 2012, A Space Odyssey. It has nothing to do with her being an astronomer because she can see space from her porch. It has nothing to do with her suddenly deciding to drive a Honda Odyssey.

No, sadly, it has to do with her needing to bridge the SPACE between her ears.

2012 is probably too optimistic. She could start today, and wouldn't make it. I am reminded of the WWII movie "A Bridge Too Far."

No, actually, I am reminded of "The Bridge to Nowhere". Exactly.

It is an effen miracle that only ONE of her children is mentally handicapped. I am happy for those children, of course, but it is a miracle, nonetheless.
